All of these photos lend themselves very well to the square format, especially the last one. The border also helps give them a sense of intrigue and mystery. There is no information on the back, so we must guess where we are. I'm going to assume somewhere in California.
The top one looks like Mission architecture. Just last week, I rode my bike past The San Fernando Mission, and except for a lack of shrubbery, it looked the same. The second is a side view of The Terminal Annex Post Office next to Union Station, downtown L.A. The bottom, I think, is Cahuenga Pass, between Hollywood and The San Fernando Valley.
